Tips for Homeschool Organization:

Keeping Track of Work Samples/Homeschool Record Keeping

*Easy*

1.  Keep a 3 ring binder.  Use tab dividers labeled with the name of each subject.  3 hole punch and insert

worksheets appropriate place throughout the year.  You can just write the child name and date on each

page and will have easily accumulated a year of work samples.  I've used page protectors to slip in

artwork or other things that I didn't want to ruin with a hole puncher

*More Time, More Memorable*

1.  Keep a formal homeschool portfolio.  It can be as simple as the three ring binder listed above or as

elaborate as more of a scrapbook record of your child's homeschool year.  Here's some site

devoted to portfolio making:

Scheduling

*Easy*

1.  Hang a dry erase board on the fridge that has calendar days on it--just days of the week or whole

month if you want.  Write the schedule and erase and re-do as needed
